Meet the Doctors

Dr. Fulkerson graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 2006. After graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at The University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Hospital where he received further training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, removable prosthodontics, and implant dentistry. Dr. Fulkerson has continued with advanced training in both Implant and Cosmetic dentistry including a 1 year Implant Fellowship in affiliation with New York University and DentalXP. He is a credentialed Associate Fellow with the American Academy of Implant Dentisty and is now a clinical instructor for internationally renowned DentalXP live surgery training courses. When he is not pursuing his education in dentistry, Dr. Fulkerson enjoys surfing, skiing, and spending time with his wife Kristen, new daughter Elin, and dog Shelby.

Dr. Tsougranis is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Originally from Portsmouth New Hampshire, George grew up playing basketball, and was involved in the local community. He graduated college with his degree in Biochemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he continued to play basketball. Dr. Tsougranis has a passion for continuing his education and keeps up to date with the most current technology in dentistry by regularly attending courses so that he can provide the best and most comprehensive care to his patients. Dr. Tsougranis is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society and is a certified Invisalign provider. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Tsougranis golfing, playing basketball or spending time with his fiancé Casey and his golden retriever Wesley.

Dr. Patrick Wilson joined the Amesbury Dental Associates team in May 2021. He  attended Boston University for his undergraduate degree before earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Born and raised in Beverly, Massachusetts he regularly spends time trying to improve his community.

When not volunteering for organizations such as Autism Smiles, Dr. Wilson enjoys hiking, golfing, or taking his dogs on long walks.

Dr. Wilson continues his education in the field of dentistry through a variety of courses to maintain the most up to date and highest quality of care.

Dr. James Pastore earned his Masters in Biomedical Science from Tufts University School of Medicine.  He was a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and continued at Tufts University to complete his endodontic residency.  During his time at Tufts, Dr. Pastore   received multiple awards including the Tufts Alumni Association Scholarship, the Lester P. Goldsmith Endodontics Award, and the Dr. Thomas F. Winkler III Scholarship for Postgraduate Endodontics Resident.  

Dr. Pastore is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.  He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists, and the American Dental Association.  Dr. Pastore currently serves as Vice Chair of the North Shore District Dental Society.  Outside of the office, he spends time with his wife and 3 children. He also  enjoys snowboarding and golf.

Dr. Cheney is a 1986 graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He grew up in Amesbury, and attended Amesbury schools. He attended St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH where he received his B.A. in Natural Science.

Upon graduation from Tufts, he opened his family practice in the Hamilton Gateway building. In 1992, he moved his office to its current location on Sparhawk St. “My goal was to return to my hometown to open an office and to provide state of the art dental care to the community. I opened my office from scratch, without a single patient, and after 24 years, we’ve grown into the family practice I’ve dreamed about.”

Dr. Cheney has kept current with dental technology, including a fully integrated computer system with appointment scheduling, electronic insurance claims, digital x-rays, intra-oral cameras, and much more. “This technology along with continuing education courses enables myself and the staff to provide patients with optimal care.”

He is also a member of the National Ski Patrol at Sunday River in Maine. He enjoys the summer months golfing at Haverhill Country Club.

Dr. Cheney has retired but he’s still part of the Amesbury Dental Family.
