NOTICE TO PUBLIC
We’re happy to announce that Amesbury Dental Associates has reopened to treat all our patients. Thank you so much for your support during this difficult time.
Please note that as a result of COVID-19, we have updated some of our daily procedures. You’ll still receive the same great service from our dedicated team, however to ensure the safety of all our patients we’ve implemented the following changes:
24 hours prior we require all of our patients coming in the following day to answer a brief COVID-19 pre screening questionnaire. If you are scheduled you should expect to receive the link via text message or email. Here is the link. Our staff is also screened daily which includes screening questions and a temperature check.
Our waiting room is now open. When you arrive for your appointment, we ask that you remain in your car and one of the members of our administrative team will be out to greet you. If your appointment requires a co pay we will be calling to collect that the day before in order to minimize interaction at our front desk.
When you enter our office we require our patients to wear a mask until instructed by a clinician to remove it. Prior to entering the clinical area of our office we will take your temperature with an infrared thermometer and have you wash your hands.
We have upgraded our HVAC system with a new filtration system as well as increased the amount of times that it turns over per hour. We also will be installing aerosol vacuum machines in order to catch all the aerosols being produced while you are here for your appointment. Until the units are delivered, your hygienist may have an assistant come in to suction during your procedure much like if you were having a procedure done with the Doctor.
Our administrative staff hourly disinfects the front office including the bathrooms to decrease any cross exposure.
You will notice when you arrive to our office our entire staff will be in masks. The clinicians also will have significantly more personal protective equipment then before. They will be wearing an N95 mask, a surgical cap, a surgical gown, and a face shield. This is to keep both themselves and all of our patients safe.
If you had an appointment during the closure please understand our administrative team is doing their best to call everyone and get you back in our schedule. If you have not received a call to reschedule please call us during normal business hours and we will be happy to find a time that works for your schedule.
